Description
The Malbec Altamira by Achaval Ferrer is born in old vineyards located in the Altamira area at 1100 meters above sea level
It is produced exclusively with Malbec grapes, pressed and subsequently fermented for up to 4 days in concrete vats. The second fermentation takes place in oak barrels, followed by the ageing of the wine in French oak barrels for 12 months.
It is characterized by an intense purple red colour. The nose opens with aromas of violet, ripe plum, herbs and tobacco. The sip is fresh, with creamy tannins and a persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, baked pasta and aged cheeses.
