Description

Zuccardi Emma Bonarda is a red wine produced 100% with Bonarda grapes, grown in three different areas of Mendoza: Santa Rosa, San José (Tupungato) and Altamira (San Carlos).

Winemaking involves the use of indigenous yeasts and fermentation at controlled temperatures between 25 and 27°C. The wine macerates for 20-25 days with periodic pigeage and delestage, followed by complete malolactic fermentation. Subsequently, 60% of the wine matures in French oak barriques for 12 months, giving complexity and structure.

Zuccardi Emma Bonarda has an intense purplish red color with black reflections. On the nose, it offers fresh aromas of red and black fruits, such as strawberries, cherries, blueberries and raspberries, along with notes of herbs native to Mendoza. On the palate, it is silky, fluid and juicy, with lively acidity and elegant tannins that give it great structure and a very long finish.

This Bonarda pairs perfectly with red meats and mature cheeses.
