Description
Corbec belongs to the innovative line of wines that the Venetian company Masi produces in the La Arboleda Masi Tupungato estate, in Argentina.
It is mainly produced with Corvina and Malbec grapes, left to dry for about 20 days on wooden platforms. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Subsequently the wine ages for 18 months in French oak barrels and rests in steel until bottling.
It has an intense red color. The nose offers a strong aroma of berries with a hint of plum jam and notes of cinnamon and mint. On the palate it is round, with great body and structure. In the finish it offers notes of bitter cocoa and excellent persistence.
Excellent with meat sauce and red meats, it goes perfectly with aged cheeses.
