Description
Adjacent to the Saint-Julien appellation and bordering prestigious crus such as Château Gruaud Larose and Château Beychevelle, the Château Lanessan estate is a Cru Bourgeois point of reference in the Haut-Médoc, which extends over 45 hectares. Its wines are the result of a particularly precise and accurate winemaking process and are known for their elegance.
Fermentation takes place in concrete vats at a controlled temperature. Aging takes place in oak barrels for 12 months, one third in new barrels, and the other two thirds in first and second passage barrels respectively.
In the glass it has a purple color. The nose is intense and clean, dominated by notes of black cherry and floral notes of rose and violet. In the mouth it is rich and lively, with very silky tannins and a persistent finish.
It goes perfectly with all red meats, such as beef and lamb, but also goes well with game dishes and stewed meats.
