Description
The Marsannay Les Vaudenelles from Domaine Bruno Clair is a charming expression of Pinot Noir from the Burgundy region. The clayey-limestone soil, enriched by marl subsoils containing Ostrea Acuminata, benefits from a south-east exposure, guaranteeing ideal conditions for the cultivation of high-quality grapes.
The vinification uses partially whole grapes for a maceration of 10-15 days in wood, a process that aims to enhance the natural complexity and finesse of the Pinot Noir. This is followed by aging for 18-20 months in partially new oak barrels .
It presents itself to the eye with an inviting ruby red color, and on the nose it reveals an elegant bouquet dominated by red fruits. In the mouth, it stands out for being fresh and balanced.
It excels in combination with game dishes and red meats in general.
