Description

The Marsannay Les Longeroies La Murée by Domaine Bruno Clair, a red wine produced in the prestigious Burgundy wine region, is an expression of the Pinot Noir grape grown on clay-limestone soil. The particular south-east exposure of the vineyard helps to provide the ideal conditions for the ripening of the grapes, giving the wine unique and distinctive characteristics.

Fermentation takes place with the use of partially whole grapes, followed by a maceration of 10-15 days which allows the extraction of intense colors and complex aromas. Aging the wine for 18 months in partially new oak barrels adds subtle aromatic nuances without overpowering the natural aromas of the fruit.

Characterized by an elegant ruby red colour, the nose opens with lively notes of raspberry, strawberry and vanilla, enriched with floral hints of hibiscus, which together create a highly fascinating aromatic bouquet. On the palate it is soft and fresh, with a pleasant aromatic persistence that reflects the quality and finesse of Pinot Noir.

This Marsannay is ideal in combination with furred game and red meats, in particular with beef-based second courses.
