Description
Saint Clair's Marlborough Premium Pinot Noir was born in vineyards located in the valleys of the Wairau Plateau in New Zealand.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, harvested entirely by hand and stored at low temperature for 5 days. Fermentation begins in stainless steel and then continues in partially new French oak barrels. Subsequently the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to acquire greater softness before being bottled.
It has an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with notes of boysenberry and black currant, enriched with elegant hints of dark chocolate and spices. On the palate it is in perfect balance between the tannic and the acid component, with a clean and persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany cold cuts and truffles, this red wine is ideal in combination with roasted white meats and roasted fish.
