Description
Saint Clair's Marlborough Origin Chardonnay comes from vineyards located in the Wairau Valley, in the heart of Marlborough, New Zealand.
It is produced entirely with Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place in American and French oak barriques. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 6 months in oak barrels before being bottled.
Saint Clair's Marlborough Premium Chardonnay has a pale golden yellow color. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, with hints of peach, hazelnut, almond and toffee, enriched with slight hints of shells and oak. On the palate it is wide and elegant, with a pleasant freshness.
This white wine is ideal in combination with roasted white meats and fresh cheeses.
