Description

Mount Riley Pinot Noir is a red wine produced in the Marlborough region of New Zealand using 100% Pinot Noir grapes. This wine is made from different clones of three vineyards located in the Southern Valleys sub-zone, which offers ideal conditions for growing Pinot Noir.

The grapes were subjected to cold maceration before being vinified. The wine was then aged for seven months in French oak barrels, a process that enriched the wine with delicate spicy notes and improved its structure without overpowering the primary fruit characters.

It has a deep red color with garnet and ruby nuances. On the nose it releases aromas of ripe cherry and plum, accompanied by hints of tasty spices and dried herbs. On the palate it is accessible and soft, with delicate tannins and an intense fruity flavor, complemented by a silky structure.

This red wine pairs perfectly with tomato or mushroom-based dishes, salmon, red meat or pasta, and is also excellent as an aperitif.
