Description
Pinot Noir Bishop's Leap is a wine from the Saint Clair company, a New Zealand family winery located in the Marlborough region.
The grapes are cooled 5 days before fermentation, which takes place with the addition of selected yeasts in steel tanks. Subsequently the wine is aged in both old and new French oak barrels.
In the glass the wine appears ruby red in color. The nose reveals a fruity bouquet of ripe raspberries and cherries, black currants, in addition to spicy notes. The sip is full, with fruity notes and a good persistence.
Excellent wine for cold cuts appetizers and stewed stew.
