Description
Château du Tertre is a renowned estate of approximately 52 hectares located within the boundaries of the Margaux appellation, in the Bordeaux region. The Château has a long history, with roots dating back to the 12th century. The property was included in the official classification of Bordeaux wines in 1855, attesting to its reputation for excellence.
The blend is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested from the best plots. For wine transfer operations, the principle of gravity is exploited in order to intervene as little as possible on the raw material. The refinement takes place for 18 months in mainly new barriques.
In the glass it has a deep and lively ruby red color. On the nose it offers a refined bouquet of ripe red fruit and spices which prelude to a structured and complex taste, with a persistent finish.
It is the ideal pairing for roast meats, game and mature cheeses.
