Description

Alter Ego , known as the second wine of the prestigious Château Palmer , represents one of the hidden gems of the esteemed Margaux region, located in the renowned wine-growing area of Bordeaux, France. The grapes for this wine come from the Château Palmer vineyards and are selected with the utmost care to ensure quality. The winemaking follows consolidated traditions, while the wine ages carefully to obtain a balanced structure and aromatic complexity.

Alter Ego presents itself with a magnificent garnet red color, almost black, bright and brilliant with violet reflections. On the nose, subtle notes of blackberry and blueberry jam emerge, as well as vanilla. Floral notes of iris give lightness to the whole. On the palate it reveals all its power. The attack is frank and full-bodied. The body is structured on chiseled and very silky tannins. A slight tension is felt towards the end of the tasting, giving a pleasant sensation of freshness to the finish.

This wine is the ideal accompaniment to dishes such as roast beef, lamb dishes or delicious cheeses.
