Description

Petit Lot Mousseux sparkling wine is produced in Australia by Windows Estate, a winery located and managed by Chris & Jo Davies. The vineyards extend for 16 hectares and have organic certification.

The wine is a 100% Chenin Blanc Blanc, rigorously harvested by hand. The grapes are gently pressed and traditionally vinified in white, with an aging on the lees for 3 months. The dry base wine was bottled and inoculated for secondary fermentation in the bottle, where the wine remained for 2 years.

Straw-yellow in colour, the aromas of elderflower and green apple are perceived on the nose. The sip is fresh, lively and creamy.

Excellent as an aperitif, this wine goes very well with seafood appetizers, fresh cheeses and pasta, cereal and rice salads.
