Description

This wine represents the "grand vin" of the Rocca di Frassinello estate, according to a comparison with the Bordeaux classification. It was created by the oenologists Alessandro Cellai and Christian Le Sommer, known for being also the oenologist of Les Domaines Baron de Rothschild-Lafite.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 14 months in largely new barriques, followed by 11 months of aging in bottle, before being released onto the market.

Perfect to accompany red meats, roasts and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
