Description
The Vermentino wine of Tenuta Aquilaia was born in Maremma, in the land that was once inhabited by the Etruscans.
The Vermentino grapes are pressed and the must obtained is cold macerated for 12-15 hours at 10-12°C. This is followed by soft pressing and fermentation in steel tanks, kept at a temperature of 18-22°C.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose reveals aromas of jasmine, peach blossom and yellow fruit. The sip is sapid and fresh, with a good persistence.
Excellent with seafood appetizers, crustaceans, molluscs and grilled fish.
