Description

The Maremma Toscana San Germano di Rocca di Frassinello was born in the Gran Cru San Germano, located in the municipality of Gavorrano, in the province of Grosseto.

It is produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese grapes, harvested exclusively by hand. Vinification traditionally takes place in steel at a controlled temperature. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 14 months in 80% new barriques, and for a further 11 months in the bottle before being placed on the market.

It has an intense ruby red colour. The nose opens with seductive notes of currant, blackberry, coffee and vanilla. In the mouth it is very structured, harmonious and elegant, with a very long persistence.

It goes excellently with rich red meat and game dishes, both roasted and stewed.
