Description
The Maremma Toscana Rosso Lodai of Tenuta Fertuna is born in vineyards located in the municipality of Gavorrano, in the heart of the Maremma.
It is produced with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes, harvested and selected entirely by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 10-20 days. Subsequently the wine ages in barriques for 12 months and for a further 6 months in bottle before being released on the market.
Lodai is characterized by an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose opens with an intense bouquet, with aromas of berries, enriched with elegant vanilla notes. On the palate it is pleasantly soft, balanced and with a long persistence and intensity.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats and game, it is ideal in combination with white meats and aged cheeses.
