Description
The Maremma Toscana Cabernet Terre More was born in the Ammiraglia di Frescobaldi estate located in the municipality of Magliano, in the province of Grosseto.
It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and with small additions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with maceration for 13 days in contact with the skins. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months in second and third passage barriques, before being bottled.
It has an intense and brilliant ruby red color. The nose opens with fruity hints of blackberry, plum and black currant, enriched with nuances of vanilla and licorice. On the palate it is full and enveloping, soft and elegant, with a very long finish and a pleasantly sweet and fruity aftertaste.
Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and grilled red meats, this wine is ideal in combination with pizza.
