Description
The Marche Rosso Riva Nord by Truentum is a wine that reflects the winemaking heritage of the area, produced in the vineyards of Controguerra, Teramo, near the Tronto river, on the border between Abruzzo and Marche. Born from calcareous-and sandy-clayey soils, it combines Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Merlot.
The manual harvest takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October. A cold pre-maceration at 6°C for 48 hours precedes the fermentation carried out at 25°C for 12 days. The aging takes place in steel and concrete barriques for 9 months.
Marche Rosso Riva Nord stands out for its purple-red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it offers a dense bouquet of small fruits such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by delicate floral and vegetal aromas, notes of liquorice and graphite. In the mouth, the wine is characterized by great freshness, excellent structure and silky tannins.
It is an ideal wine to accompany red meat dishes, barbecues, cheeses or rich and tasty first courses.
