Description
The Levigato of the Soligo winery is a pure Pinot Noir made from grapes from the municipalities of Arcade, Spresiano, Ponzano Veneto, Povegliano and Villorba.
The harvest takes place in mid-September to proceed with fermentation with the skins for 15 days in steel. The wine then matures in barrique and tonneau for about 12 months and is then decanted into oak barrels with a capacity of 30 hl where the refinement continues for a couple of months.
Medium intensity garnet red color, with hints of red currant and morello cherry, spices such as black pepper and licorice before closing with notes of violet. On the palate it is fresh, with moderate tannins and a return of red fruits, presenting a medium persistence overall.
Perfect for first courses with meat sauces, boiled meats and grilled meats.
