Description
The Maranges Premier Cru Clos des Roussots of Domaine Regnaudot comes to life from the estate's vineyards located in a strategic point of the Burgundy terroir, i.e. west of Santenay, at the connection point between the Côte d'Or and Saône-et-Loire.
The harvest of only Pinot Noir grapes takes place manually, after which the grapes are subjected to a short maceration and then to a 15-20 day fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine ages for 12 months in partially new French oak barrels.
It appears in the glass of a ruby red color. The nose reveals delicate notes of spices that integrate well with aromas of red fruits. Sweet and fresh on the palate, it is characterized by well-smoothed tannins present throughout its persistence.
Ideal with all white meat-based main courses.
