Description
The Malbec of the Laborum line of El Porvenir was born in the Finca Rio Seco vineyard, located in the Argentine city of Cafayate, in the heart of the renowned Salta wine region.
It is produced exclusively with Malbec grapes, harvested manually in the first two weeks of March. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27-29 ° C for 15 days. Subsequently the wine is aged for 14 months in French and American oak barrels, before being bottled.
It is characterized by an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with fresh notes of red and black fruits, enriched by floral hints of rose and violet, with delicate spicy hints of black pepper. On the palate it is soft and harmonious, with strong tannins that make it a structured wine and a pleasantly persistent finish.
Perfect to accompany red meat dishes and game, it is ideal in combination with aged cheeses.
