Description
Joseph Drouhin's Mâcon-Bussières Les Clos is a white wine produced in the southern Burgundy region, near Pouilly-Fuissé. Made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the heart of the Bussières terroir, this wine comes from a vineyard located on the first significant relief of the southern Mâconnais, characterized by clay-limestone soils of Jurassic origin, ideal for growing Chardonnay.
The winemaking involves the purchase of grapes and musts from partner producers selected according to strict quality protocols. The grapes are pressed in a pneumatic press and the musts are fermented for two thirds in tanks and for one third in oak barrels. The refinement then continues for a period of 6-10 months.
It has a clear and bright yellow color. On the nose, mineral notes are distinguished, accompanied by touches of white flowers. In the mouth it is long and precise, with a notable purity. This wine reveals a harmonious structure, with a good roundness and a pleasant freshness that persists until the finish.
Perfect to accompany fish dishes, shellfish, white meats and soft cheeses.
