Description
Cottini Lugana Villa Annaberta comes from Trebbiano grapes and a strictly manual harvest, in the first week of September. The grapes are selected and harvested manually and immediately refrigerated bringing them to a temperature of about 5 ° C. Upon arrival in the cellar they are de-stemmed and then crushed.
The crushed grapes are left to macerate for 8-10 hours, while at a later time there is soft pressing and static clarification of the must, natural and cold. The wine ferments at a low temperature and remains on its lees for about 6 months until bottling.
Straw yellow with greenish reflections in the glass, it expresses delicate nuances of white flowers, citrus and tropical fruits on the nose, followed by more complex notes of almond and white pepper, with a final finish on the tones of aromatic herbs. The sip is fresh, pleasant, with excellent balance.
Its fresh and inviting aroma makes it the ideal wine for aperitifs, but it also goes well with appetizers, first and second courses based on fish, especially lake fish such as trout, perch and whitefish. Absolutely to try with fresh cheeses.
