Description
Le Fornaci by Tommasi is a Lugana produced with Turbiana grapes in the immediate vicinity of Lake Garda.
The vineyards are grown on calcareous-clayey and sandy soils that give body and aroma to the wines produced. After a meticulous harvest of the grapes, the fermentation is carried out at a controlled temperature and the ageing lasts three months in contact with the lees. A brief aging in steel also follows.
Very intense and brilliant straw yellow colour, it has the typical hints of tropical fruit on the nose for a dry and harmonious sip. Hints of mango and pineapple return to the palate with a savoury and mineral finish, while the typical almond aftertaste accompanies a medium-long persistence finish.
