Lugana DOC Centofilari 2023 Cesari

Cesari's Lugana Centofilari is a white wine produced in the Veneto region, between the municipalities of Pozzolengo and Peschiera del Garda. This white wine is mainly composed of Turbiana grapes, with a small addition of Chardonnay, grown on clay-limestone soils. The vines benefit from the temperate and ventilated climate thanks to the proximity of the lake.

After harvesting, the bunches are subjected to soft pressing and the must obtained ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The refinement also takes place in steel on the fine lees, for a few months, before the wine is bottled in spring.

This wine has a brilliant straw yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose it offers an aromatic bouquet rich in hints of tropical fruit, ripe apple, yellow peach and white flowers, accompanied by citrus notes. In the mouth it stands out for its soft and rather full body, balanced by a lively freshness and a persistent mineral aftertaste.

Perfect in combination with risottos and lake fish dishes such as trout or eel.
