Description

The Gewürztraminer di Lo Triolet is a pure Gewürztraminer, produced by this small company of the Martin family, who lives in Introd, a small village in the Aosta Valley of only 600 inhabitants. The company was founded in 1993 and currently manages 7 hectares of high-altitude vineyards, between 600 and 850 meters above sea level. The Gewürztraminer vineyard is located at 900 meters above sea level, in Villeneuve.

After the grape harvest, which takes place in mid-September, the must is fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature, with a short maceration of the skins. The refinement takes place for 8 months in steel.

In the glass the wine appears of an intense straw yellow color. On the nose there are hints of particularly fragrant flowers, even dried, and notes of ripe white and yellow fruit, even tropical. The sip is fresh, soft and quite savory, with a good persistence.

It is the ideal combination to accompany with savory main courses of white meats, both stewed and grilled, and aged cheeses.
