Description

The IGA of Calabria "Cala" by Librandi is a unique craft beer, coming from the Calabria region and characterized by the addition of Gaglioppo grape must. This beer has a bright copper color, with a fine and compact foam that promises an elegant and refined tasting.

The production of this beer includes the use of water, barley malt, Gaglioppo grape must, hops and yeast. The winemaking phase is characterized by the integration of Gaglioppo must, which is then expertly mixed with the other basic ingredients to obtain a balanced and medium-bodied final product. The maturation process follows rigorous standards to ensure flavor persistence and an attractive olfactory finish.

On the nose, the "IGA di Calabria" stands out for its high olfactory intensity, with predominant aromas of fresh ripe red berry fruit and floral notes of violet, enriched by spicy hints of liquorice. On the palate, it is round and soft, maintaining a good carbonation that balances the sweetness of the fruit with a clean aftertaste, free of bitterness.

This beer pairs beautifully with light dishes, such as fresh salads or seafood appetizers, enhancing the flavors without overwhelming them.
