Description
The Lessini Durello Le Macine is a Metodo Classico Brut sparkling wine produced by Colli Vicentini in the hilly area of Lessinia, in Veneto. It is made exclusively from Durella grapes, an indigenous variety known for its lively acidity and great aging potential, which contribute to the decisive personality of this brut sparkling wine.
The winemaking process follows the Metodo Classico, with refermentation in the bottle and aging on the lees for at least 36 months. This extended period of contact with the lees allows the wine to develop aromatic complexity, structure, and finesse, offering an elegant and persistent sensory experience.
In the glass, it displays a straw yellow color with golden reflections, animated by a fine and continuous perlage. On the nose, it expresses a refined and layered bouquet, while on the palate it reveals itself to be dry, harmonious, fresh, and creamy, with a finish that highlights balance and pleasant minerality.
Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs elegantly with fish dishes, both raw and cooked.
