Description
The Iuno red wine is produced by the De Sanctis organic farm in Frascati. The family business was founded in the early 1800s.
It is made up of 100% Cabernet Franc grapes. They are vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks, with maceration on the skins for 15-20 days. This is followed by aging in French oak barriques for 5 months.
Intense ruby red in color with garnet reflections, the nose reveals aromas of cherry, black cherry, raspberry and notes of pepper, black pepper and licorice. The sip is warm and round, with a long finish.
Excellent with risotto with truffles and roasted or grilled red meats.
