Description
In addition to exploring the heritage of Piedmontese indigenous grape varieties, especially for the production of great red wines, L'Astemia Pentita also produces noteworthy whites, including this Riesling that comes from vineyards located at 400–450 meters above sea level.
A short cold maceration is carried out, followed by soft pressing and vinification in steel, where the wine also ages for 6 months. The ageing ends in bottle, where the Riesling remains for 9 nines.
Pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, the nose reveals peach and citrus aromas, with a mineral note on the finish. On the palate it is fresh and balanced.
