Description
This Langhe Nebbiolo originates in the Josetta Saffirio vineyards located in the Castelletto sub-area, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba, planted on soils composed of silt, clay and sand in balanced proportions, rich in mineral salts.
The harvest is manual. The must macerates at a low temperature for about 24 hours, after which it ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with maceration for 8-10 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine remains in oak barrels for about 12 months to refine its organoleptic qualities.
Wine with a lively garnet color, the nose meets clear aromas of dried fruit and raspberry. In the mouth it reveals structure and is characterized by a remarkable gustatory balance.
Excellent to be paired with main courses, both red and red, it is appreciated with medium-aged cheeses.
