Description

The Nascetta of Elvio Cogno comes from the grape of the historic vineyard "Anas-cetta", of which it bears its name, located at 450 m asl. The Nascetta is a native white grape of the municipality of Novello (CN).

The vinification takes place in steel at a controlled temperature, with a subsequent refinement of 6 months in steel, of which 30% is placed in 15 hl Slavonian oak barrels for approx. 3 months.

The Nascetta di Cogno is presented in the glass with a bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. The nose is fine and elegant, with citrus notes of bergamot, aromatic herbs and wildflowers. The taste is savory and mineral, with a long persistence.

This wine goes well with light dishes, vegetable and sea and river fish appetizers, risottos and vegetarian and fish first courses, as well as stewed white meats.
