Description
Langhe Rosso Arte is born from the perfect balance between two complementary varieties: Nebbiolo and Barbera. The vineyards extend over 1.2 hectares and represent the expression of continuous research and experimentation, begun in 1981, which unites tradition and innovation of the Domenico Clerico winery.
The Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes are vinified separately, to maximize the characteristics of each grape variety. After fermentation, both wines are aged for 12 months in barrique and only subsequently are they assembled before bottling, creating a complex and harmonious wine.
On the nose this wine opens with intense aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices and light floral notes. On the palate it is round and well structured, with elegant tannins and a balanced acidity, which blend into a long and persistent finish.
It pairs perfectly with red meats, roasts and mature cheeses.
