Description
Langhe Nebbiolo is produced by Marchesi di Gresy in the main of their 4 estates, that of Martinenga. The other 3 are Monte Aribaldo, La Serra and Monte Colombo, all located in the Langhe or Monferrato and with an area of 45 hectares of vineyards.
The 100% Nebbiolo grapes are carefully selected by hand before proceeding with red vinification with maceration with the cap raised at a controlled temperature for 6-7 days. The refinement takes place in cement or steel for a period of 5 months.
Ruby red in color, the nose reveals aromas of strawberry, black cherry, raspberry cherry. The sip is fresh and medium-bodied, with pleasant tannins and a good persistence.
To be combined with stewed red and white meats.
