Langhe DOC Nebbiolo 2021 Elio Sandri

Elio Sandri's Langhe Nebbiolo is a red wine produced in the Langhe, Piedmont, which reflects the character of the territory and the dedication to the local winemaking tradition. The winery is located in Monforte d'Alba and benefits from a unique microclimate thanks to the proximity of uncultivated wooded areas.

The Nebbiolo grapes are harvested by hand and vinified with indigenous yeasts. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, followed by a period of refinement in large-capacity oak barrels. This traditional process helps preserve the authenticity and complexity of the wine.

In the glass this Nebbiolo presents a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, it releases intense aromas of red fruits, violets and spicy notes. On the palate, it offers a balanced structure with silky tannins and a persistent finish that recalls the olfactory notes.

This wine pairs perfectly with red meats, mature cheeses and risottos.
