Description
Langhe Nebbiolo del Castello di Perno is a red wine produced with 100% Nebbiolo grapes, sourced from vineyards located in the heart of the Langhe, in Piedmont.
The vinification begins with the destemming of the grapes, followed by a cold maceration for 48 hours and a spontaneous fermentation with maceration of about 20 days at a controlled temperature. The refinement takes place for 8 months in large French and Austrian oak barrels, before bottling in August, which allows the wine to develop a balanced structure.
This wine has a bright ruby red color. The nose reveals aromas of fresh red fruits, accompanied by floral notes of rose and violet. The palate is fresh and delicate, with soft tannins and good acidity that lead to a long and pleasant finish.
This Langhe Nebbiolo pairs perfectly with pasta dishes with meat sauces or with mature cheeses.
