Description
The Langhe Nebbiolo of Casa E. di Mirafiore comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of Piedmont.
It is produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 12-15 days. Subsequently, the wine remains on the "submerged cap" skins for 15-20 days, with the aim of extracting polyphenolic substances.
It is characterized by a garnet red color, with ruby reflections. The nose opens with a floral bouquet, enriched with hints of plum and pleasant spicy notes of nutmeg and tobacco. On the palate it is pleasantly enveloping, with sweet tannins and a long and balsamic finish.
Perfect to accompany first courses and red meats, it is ideal in combination with roasts and aged cheeses.
