Description
The Langhe Nebbiolo Angelo by Mauro Veglio is obtained only from Nebbiolo grapes coming from the municipalities of La Morra, Monforte d'Alba and Roero, in soils characterized by calcareous marl of good permeability.
The harvest is manual, followed by fermentation with maceration on the skins in steel tanks at a controlled temperature for approximately 26 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the refinement of the wine involves a short passage in small oak barrels.
It has an intense ruby red color with purple hues. On the nose there are notes of dog rose and morello cherry. The taste is vinous and fresh, with delicate tannins and a good aromatic persistence.
This Nebbiolo is ideal for accompanying red meats and game-based dishes.
