Description
This Langhe Nebbiolo is produced by the Alberto Ballarin winery, located in La Morra, one of the most fascinating villages in the Langhe. The winery was founded in the 80s by the will of Luigi and his sons Giorgio and Giovanni. In recent years, Giorgio's son, Alberto, has decided to devote himself entirely to the family business: this is how the Alberto Ballarin company was born.
The grapes are harvested manually in October. The grapes are fermented in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The resulting wine is then aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 6 months before being bottled.
In the glass the Langhe Nebbiolo appears ruby red in color with garnet hues. To the nose, it offers aromas of violets and roses and red fruits. On the palate the wine is harmonious in its sapid and tannic components, of medium persistence.
Ideal in combination with plin with meat sauce, stewed red meats and aged cheeses.
