Description
Langhe Nascetta del Castello di Perno is a white wine made exclusively with 100% Nascetta grapes, a native Piedmontese vine rediscovered in recent years. This wine expresses the freshness and minerality of the Langhe territory, thanks to calcareous-sandy soils.
The vinification involves destemming the grapes, followed by an 8-hour maceration and a very soft pressing. Fermentation occurs spontaneously, without malolactic fermentation, to preserve the freshness of the wine. The refinement takes place in steel, followed by bottling in February and a further refinement in the bottle for 6 months before being released for sale.
Langhe Nascetta has a bright straw yellow color. The nose reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruit, citrus fruits and white flowers, accompanied by light herbaceous notes. The palate is fresh and lively, with good acidity and a marked minerality that confer balance and finesse.
This white wine pairs perfectly with fish dishes or fresh cheeses.
