Description
The Langhe Barbera Bompè is born in vineyards located in Madonna di Como, in the province of Alba, from grapes grown at approx. 410-425 masl from the historic plot called "Bompè".
It is produced exclusively with Barbera grapes, harvested at the end of September. The grapes are spontaneously fermented with whole berries, in cement tanks at a temperature of 22-28°C for 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages for a year in large French oak barrels.
This Langhe Barbera is characterized by a ruby red color with violet hues. The nose opens with aromas of red fruit and berries, with smoky notes. On the palate it is savory and vertical.
Perfect to accompany first courses with stuffed pasta with meat sauce and red meat main courses.
