Description

Giacobazzi 2 Fruttato is a Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro produced in the Modena area.

It comes from vineyards set among the Emilian hills, defined by a sandy and calcareous soil. The harvest takes place towards the end of September, when the grapes have reached the correct ripeness. Maceration and vinification in steel follow. Naturally referments in the bottle according to the traditional Martinotti Method.

It has a deep ruby red color in the glass. The scent, which matches the taste, is fruity and fragrant. Reminiscent of fermenting must and strawberry, cherry and black cherry notes. Freshness, liveliness and slight sugary perception determine its drink, which closes in a fleshy dark fruit.

To be combined perfectly with a plate of traditional savory cured meats, but also with wild fruit tartlets.
