Description

Lambrusco di Modena 1928 Abboccato from Cantine Cavicchioli is a sparkling wine obtained from Lambrusco Salamino and Lambrusco Grasparossa grapes, grown in the company's vineyards located in the central area of the province of Modena. The winery, founded in 1928, has passed down its experience and passion for viticulture for generations, following the integrated pest control protocol to guarantee the quality of the grapes.

Winemaking takes place according to the Charmat Method, with fermentation and second fermentation in a single phase. This process is interrupted by reducing the temperature to preserve the fragrance and maintain a perfect taste balance.

Lambrusco 1928 Abboccato has a deep ruby red color and a purple foam. On the nose, it offers fruity aromas of black cherry, cherry, raspberry and blackberry, accompanied by spicy hints. On the palate, the well-balanced acidity and good tannic structure guarantee a fullness of flavor and pleasant drinking.

This wine pairs perfectly with cured meats and mature cheeses.
