Summary
Description
Ladoix by Reine Pédauque is a red wine that comes from the enchanting region north-west of the Côte de Beaune, France, overlooking the picturesque village of Ladoix-Serrigny. This wine is an expression of the Pinot Noir variety, grown in a soil composed of limestone mixed with clay.
Winemaking follows traditional methods with stainless steel fermentation and prolonged cold maceration. Fermentation takes place with careful pigeage and pumping over operations, followed by aging in oak barrels for 12 months, enhancing the quality and unique characteristics of Pinot Noir.
This Ladoix has a garnet red color enriched with violet reflections. On the nose, aromas of candied fruit and strawberry emerge, complemented by notes of roasting and coffee. On the palate, the wine is precise and serious, supported in the finish by fine tannins and a pleasant minerality.
Perfect in combination with cured hams, fibrous and thin meats such as rabbit and boiled meat, spiced meats and poultry (curry), offal in sauce and game. It also goes well with cheeses with delicate flavors such as Brillat-Savarin, Vacherin, Brie de Meaux and Cîteaux.
