Description
Vesuvian white wine that was born where, according to legend, Jesus Christ shed his tears at the sight of the paradise of the Gulf of Naples stolen by Lucifer in his descent into hell, and where the vineyards of Lacryma Christi grew shortly thereafter. The territory is difficult for the vine and at the same time rich in minerals: a place that guarantees an exceptional development of aromas and flavors.
The bunches of Coda di Volpe are collected around the first half of October to ensure the full expression of the fruit. It is the result of a white vinification carried out in steel tanks, followed by 30 days of bottle aging.
Straw yellow in color, it combines aromatic sensations of yellow peach and ripe pear with characteristic notes of licorice and iodine puffs. In the mouth it is a game of balance, in which the hints of ripe fruit are perfectly intertwined with the mineral closure.
It goes well with grilled squid or baked white fish. Try it at the opening of a banquet with finger food and seafood appetizers.
