Description

The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba Fonte del Re was born in vineyards located on the Marche hills, near Morro d'Alba, where an ancient source gushed.

It is produced exclusively with Lacrima grapes, harvested only by hand in mid-September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24 ° C for about 10 days. Subsequently the wine ages in the same containers for about 4 months before being bottled.

The Fonte del Re is characterized by an intense ruby red color, with purple hues. The nose opens with delicate aromas of roses and violets, enriched with pleasant aromatic notes. On the palate it is dry and warm, pleasantly soft and round. The wine has a persistent body, with pungent and elegant tannins.

Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and cold cuts, it is ideal in combination with fish and white meat dishes.
