Description
Belisario's Lacrima di Morro d'Alba is a red wine produced in the Marche region. The grapes come from vineyards located in Sant'Amico, Morro d'Alba, with altitudes ranging from 180 to 210 meters above sea level. The vines, trained using spurred cordon, are 23 years old.
The winemaking involves a maceration of 15% of the grapes for 15 days and a carbonic maceration of 20%. Fermentation, which lasts approximately 20 days, takes place at a temperature of 22-26°C in 75 hl stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 5 months in stainless steel tanks, with clarification carried out with bentonite.
The wine has a bright red color. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of small red fruits, such as raspberry and cherry, with floral notes. On the palate, it is fresh and fruity, with soft tannins and a pleasantly long finish.
It pairs perfectly with meat dishes, fresh cheeses and light first courses.
