Description
Marotti Campi Orgiolo was born in Morro d'Alba, in the province of Ancona from pure Lacrima grapes and from a mixed soil tending to clayey, which gives the wine precious mineral scents. After a manual harvest, in wooden boxes, carried out at the end of September, it vinifies with soft pressing, macerating in contact with the skins for 10-14 days. It ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 ° and ages for 12 months in small used French oak barrels and a further 6 months in the bottle.
Intense ruby red in color with reflections tending towards purple, it opens on the nose with peculiar aromas of rose, blackberry, pink pepper and juniper berries, embellished with an elegant touch of oriental spices. On the palate it is fruity and spicy, with soft and persistent tannins that give a clean finish.
To combine with elaborate first courses, duck breast, turkey, roast lamb and pork. Try it with rabbit meat.
