Description
The Lacrima di Morro d'Alba from the Buscareto winery originates from the Sant'Amico di Morro d'Alba vineyard.
At the end of the harvest, the must ferments in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, with maceration on the skins for 10–12 days. Maturation of the wine takes place in steel tanks for about 6 months. A final ageing of 2 months completes the production process.
It fills the glass with its ruby red colour. The nose is fresh and immediate, declined on hints of rose and violet petals, blackberries and spices. When tasted, it is enveloping, warm and velvety.
It goes very well with succulent red meats and roasts but can also accompany a platter of medium-aged cheeses.
